The Conservatory of Florina, Prefecture of Western Macedonia, as part of the programme for the Festival ‘Spring Music’ (concerts – seminars), is organizing a seminar on the subject of ‘The popular Piano’, by Nikos Ordoulidis, PhD University of Leeds.

In the form of discussion and live examples the following subject matter will be developed: popular improvisation (taksimi), solo performance of songs, accompaniment technique, implementation of the popular dromi.

The seminar is open to students, teachers but also to anyone interested and takes place on Saturday 2 March 2013 at 5:30pm, in the small concert hall of the Conservatory. Admission is free.
