The recital is built on the piano solo. Consisting of reconstructions of some of the most popular melodies of historical Balkan and Mediterranean discography, going as far back as 1910. The recital is structured on nine scenarios, as they are named during the video projection, accompanying and alternating with the live performance. The video projections, which include visuals, audio and narrative, recount the stories of the creators, the basic axis being their music itself. In this way, based on the historical narrative, the pianistic reconstructions performed at the end of each scenario, acquire meaning through the narrative and the specific context, transporting the whole discourse of each melody to today – the present.
